Man isn't really as in control of life as he thinks he is. When do we wake up to the reality that what we "feel" is nothing but an interplay of chemicals? Pain is not really pain, and joy/sorrow are nothing more than different chemicals being released into our system.
The attack of the hormones! Aaaah.. Vengeance shall be mine someday, you stupid chemicals. Screw you, serotonin! Bah. I'll hit you where it hurts.. War on the hypothalamus. Fight, you coward! (Oh, by the way, epinephrine, you're in my good books) When all your stupid singal transduction pathways fizzle out, you'll know the pain yourself.
Oh wait, how ironic.
